Scientific Americanのアプリ概要

  • SciAm still has the content, and while I'm glad they're continuing to work on the app interface, I'm not yet sure about this latest version. Being able to read in landscape or portrait view and change font size are welcome, but navigation within the app has lost some clarity and simplicity. Here's to further improvements.

  • A good thing is that now you can read articles on iPhone. Other than that, previous version was a lot better. There is no magazine feel to it.

  • After upgrading to iOS8, I couldn't read books on my iPad2 and iPad mini. So, I deleted the app and reinstalled, several times. I could read the books on iPad mini, but on iPad2, I couldn't.

  • This app is very different from usual e-book, designed specifically for electronic format. It is amazing and a fun to play with though, the User Interface needs refinement. Now it is hard to find buttons to navigate where I want to go. Nevertheless, I would like to admire the efforts to change our concept on e-books.
